In light of recent tier restrictions for local areas, junior indoor & outdoor sports remains exempt and can continue as normal, and outdoors adult sports can also continue as normal. For both tiers 2 (high) and 3 (very high), Basketball England and Netball England have issued confirmation that travelling to and from different areas, irrespective of tiers, is permissible of junior sports. In light of this, the following will continue as normal:
- All junior leagues (Under 17s)
- All junior club / team court hires (Under 17s)
- Elite sports training / matches
- Outdoor adults leagues for basketball & netball
